Double-sided 200µm thick, white film tape.

tesa® 51920 is a white, double-sided adhesive tape consisting of a polypropylene film carrier and an acrylic adhesive.

The tape is designed for low-temperature applications or unheated production environments. Typically, the use of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes poses a problem at low temperatures due to insufficient levels of adhesion, ultimately leading to significantly reduced bonding capacity. Where other adhesive technologies fail, tesa® 51920 tape demonstrates impressive fastening properties at very low temperatures, thanks to its unique adhesive substance formulation.

Excellent bonding properties down to -10°C
Secure fastening even on substrates with high surface energy (e.g., steel) and on surfaces with medium surface energy (e.g., ABS)
For outdoor use
Unique blue protective stripe in combination with this tape, emphasizes its cold resistance

PV15 = blue HDPE film (100μm thick)

Temperatures below 0°C can lead to dull/frozen surfaces. Fixing the tape to such surfaces will not enable safe and durable application. Therefore, it is important to reduce any surface contamination, including ice and frost, before installation..
