3M™ Thinsulate™ Acoustic Insulation TAI2099 is one of the thinnest solutions in the Thinsulate family — at only 8 mm thick and 200 g/m², this mat excels at lightweight noise absorption in narrow automotive spaces. Designed with both polypropylene (PP) and polyester (PE) fibers, TAI2099 traps acoustic energy and vibration without compromising flexibility or weight.

Thanks to its low density (25 kg/m³) and excellent compressibility, it conforms to curved and irregular surfaces — making it ideal for modern EV and ICE vehicle interiors. A white polyolefin scrim adds durability and protection, while surface embossing on both sides improves structural integrity and handling.
